My sister and I were looking back at some of our childhood pictures the other day and realized that we were always dressed in matching clothes. Always. Without fail. We must have had identical wardrobes which I suppose was much easier for my mother. Though, as ridiculous as it was, it made for some cute pictures! I suppose my childhood is the reason why I smile when I see matching siblings in their prams!
So to keep up the tradition, I decided to have a go at knitting these adorable matching sweaters for a good friend’s one year old and newborn boys. Up till now my creations have consisted mainly of scarves and blankets of varying difficulties. After awhile I got sick of knitting rectangles so I decided to take the plunge and have a go at knitting clothes. What better than starting out with baby ones!
These were incredibly easy to make and are super cute. I just love the toggle buttons and the collars. I probably need to work on my gauge and sizing, but was a fun first attempt!
